Welcome to Folsom - El Dorado Hills's Macaroni Kid, your ultimate source of family fun and excitement! 

I'm Jessica, a woman of many roles - wife, devoted mother, cherished friend, loving daughter, and the proud publisher/editor of Macaroni Kid since 2021!

My journey led me from the bustling streets of Los Angeles to the picturesque Placerville area when I was just one year old. Folsom/El Dorado Hills had always held a special place in my heart as I grew up, and now, I'm living my dream of raising my own family right here in this vibrant community.

With four of the most adorable and energetic kids by my side, life is a whirlwind of adventure! I'm not just your average mom; I'm your enthusiastic guide to all things Folsom and El Dorado Hills (and most of this state). Whether I'm immersed in local sports, PTA boards, chamber of commerce events, church gatherings, or simply chasing after my kids, I'm always on the go, soaking up every bit of this incredible place we call home.

Stephanie Silva

Hi, I'm Stephanie, your local guide to finding fun in Folsom and El Dorado County. I moved to El Dorado Hills when I was in 4th grade and have been in surrounding areas ever since. My family now calls Cameron Park home, and we feel so fortunate to live in this beautiful town surrounded by so many fun adventures just waiting to be unraveled. I am a firefighter wife and stay at home mom of 4 busy kiddos who are always asking, "What are we doing today?", so when the opportunity arose to write for Macaroni Kid, I knew I had to take it!

I dabble in many projects including a parent advisory board called HUBS at the library, the PTA board, substitute for the El Dorado County school districts, and member of the Buckeye Foundation. I enjoy hiking, road trips, reading, and all things Disney. I am a kid at heart and love exploring and finding new quirky things to do. I look forward to sharing my many family adventures with you!
