Halloween Candy Buy Back

A List of Participating Dentists and Orthodontists in the Area

By Nicole Ratcliff October 28, 2015
You've taken them to every trunk-or-treat for miles around.  You have been to more than a few local harvest carnivals.  You will take them trick-or-treating and/or to the Halloween Spooktacular in EDH Town Center.  You've also bought candy you won't be able to actually hand out because you'll be pounding the pavement most of the night with your own kids.  No matter your chosen activities, it's a pretty safe bet that you will have Halloween candy coming out of your ears come Sunday morning.  The solution?  More and more dentists and orthodontists in our area are participating in the Halloween Candy Buy Back program and will actually pay (or donate to a charitable cause) to take it off your hands!  The icing on the cake?  The candy is sent to our military troops overseas so they can enjoy a small piece of Halloween themselves.

In the years past, we have let each of our kids keep 10-15 pieces of candy and taken the rest to a local orthodontist, where they easily racked up $5+ each.  It was a win-win situation for all involved!  Whether you want to whittle down the kids' supply, get it out of your house lest you eat every last piece yourself, or do something nice for our military, this is a GREAT option to unload all that candy!  I have compiled a list of participating businesses in the Folsom and El Dorado Hills area and will add more as I find them.  You can also check the official Halloween Candy Buy Back website for more listings.  Happy selling!
