Folsom Pro Rodeo is back, stronger than ever! Are ya'll ready?! It has been a local tradition for 58 years and it promises to bring four full days of family fun in 2018. Folsom will be kicking off the festivities with the Folsom Family Roundup.
The Folsom Pro Rodeo will run June 30 through July 3rd opening its doors at 6:00 P.M., with the colorful grand entrance occurring at 7:30 P.M. and ending at 9:45 P.M. You can look forward to an amazing rodeo show and some top notch entertainment. Included in the entertainment line up are: rodeo clown Matt Merritt, The Flying Cowboys (Motocross experts), Mutton Busting, Painted Ladies, and a professional bull jumper!
I'm probably most excited about the Mutton Busting where we get to see 5-6 year old cowboys and cowgirls attempt to stay on board riding sheep. Every night will close with an impressive fireworks display from 9:30-9:45 P.M. If you're making it a date night, make sure to hang out at the Folsom Diesel Works "Saloon Under The Stars" and enjoy some live music and dancing through midnight.
The Folsom Pro Rodeo will take place at the Dan Russell Rodeo Arena located behind the Folsom Chamber of Commerce at 200 Wool St., Folsom, CA 95630
Folsom Pro Rodeo schedule on June 30, July 1, 2, and 3rd:
Gates open at 6 p.m.
Grand Entry at 7:30 p.m.
Fireworks 9:30-9:45 p.m.
Rodeo ends 9:45 p.m.
Folsom Diesel Works Saloon Under the Stars live music 9:45 to midnight.
