EconomeFamily Park celebrated its Grand Opening on July 12. The City of Folsom Parks and Recreation celebrated with a fun hot dog picnic. Families chatted and kids played . . . a community came together.
The park is located at 1900 Parkway Drive North in Folsom off of Blue Ravine. It conveniently connects to existing trails in Folsom. It has 124 parking stalls and a restroom (very important).
Amongst its awesome features, you will find a fun climbing structure, swings, a hillside play area, bocce ball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields, a walking trail, and picnic areas both covered and open.
Plenty of trees have been planted which will one day offer amazing shade. In the meantime, families can bring their own tent or use the covered picnic area. Make sure to make it out to check out this new addition to the Folsom community! The family is sure to enjoy it.
