I love surprises! Kids love them too.  That's why the latest collectible surprise doll craze is a hit.  But it takes great dolls, to keep the momentum going.  Watch out parents, the Hairdorables dolls are amazing and even YOU will be hooked.

There is just something I love about bright and airy colors.  Hairdorables don't just have adorable bright modern clothes and accessories, but they have the most beautiful bright colored hair.  There are 36 dolls to collect, 3 for each Hairdorables character, including 2 rare and 1 ULTRA-rare.

Who are the characters?  Well, the story goes that Noah, who loves vlogging and sharing hair tutorials, decided to share a tutorial on how to make a side-braid.  She was so pleased with how it turned out she fumbled on her words "hair" and "adorable" and coined the term "hairdorable" which went viral.  With such huge popularity, she needed help launching a YouTube channel to please her fans. Enter Kat, Kali, Bella, Skylar, Willow, Dee Dee, Harmony, Brit, Sallee, Neila, and Rayne . . . thus making 12 Hairdorables characters who love sharing their passions on their Hairdorables YouTube channel.

I love how Just Play used the fact that kids today love making videos as the basis of their character story.  If I had a dime for every time my kiddo stole my phone to record herself . . . ha! I love it.    Plus all the accessories are so fun and modern, you'll find Noah sporting a cell phone on a selfie stick!  Each Hairdorables girl has a passion and wears it, encouraging little girls to discover their own passions and proudly share them with the world.

You don't know what doll you are going to get until you pull, peel, and reveal the packaging.  Upon opening the box, you'll unveil a setting your doll can play in.  Then reveal drawers 1, 2, 3, and 4 to discover 11 adorable accessories and fashions unique to each Hairdorables girl's personality, style, and talent.  The last and ultimate reveal is the doll, which you may guess who she'll be based on what you find in her drawers.  Neila, for example, loves all things space and wears the cutest headband, dress, and sandals with stars on them. Macaroni Kid Folsom - El Dorado Hills was invited to help celebrate the launch of the Hairdorables surprise collectible dolls.  13 local girls and their grown-ups were invited to party like rock stars doing each others hair shouting "big hair don't care!". They made cupcakes at Dee Dee's sweet shop which were decorated with candy eyes, candy mouths, and hair made out of piped frosting.  So fun and sooooo good.  There was a fun photo booth to practice their YouTube superstar look, just in case these girls become YouTube celebrities you know.  A huge shout out to Lil Cottage Snips in Granite Bay for hosting us!

Seriously, every one of the 13 girls that opened a Hairdorables doll at our party left feeling like a superstar.  Even the shyest girl left radiating in confidence.  Best of all, they were amongst the first to have a Hairdorables doll because they are so new.

Don't get left behind in the Hairdorables craze, find your doll at Walmart, Target, or Amazon, Ages 3+, SRP $12.99
