Your Life Outdoors: International Sportsmen’s Expo Returns to Sacramento
Expo Features New Vendors and Experiences Committed to the Best of Outdoor Recreation
The 32nd annual Sacramento International Sportsmen's Expo returns to Cal Expo on Jan. 17-20, and features its largest ever and most-diverse selection of gear, destinations, seminars and outdoor experts. Spanning the entirety of Cal Expo, with five huge halls and more than 600 exhibiting companies from 30 different states, it is the place to discover your life outdoors. The family-friendly expo will have something for everyone, from the youngest outdoor enthusiasts to even the most seasoned experts.
The largest event of its kind in California, the Expo combines exhibits, activities, contests and more than 100 free seminars spanning four days. New show elements this year include an expanded Outdoor Product Showcase presented by local retailers, Sportsman’s Warehouse and Turner’s Outdoorsman, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. With an expanded focus on “Your Life Outdoors,” the expo features a seminar presented by the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) on managing wounds in the outdoors. In addition to the new seminars, a wide range of camping and destination vendors will be present at the expo, providing more for the avid hiking and camping communities.
Sportsman’s Warehouse and Turner’s Outdoorsman will have the best in gear and products, and Wilderness Archery will return to continue the Wilderness Archery Shoot-off. The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will bring the Great Elk Tour, a traveling conservation exhibit dedicated to showcasing the habitat and how to ensure a healthy elk country.
Whether you’re looking for the latest and greatest in products, booking the trip of a lifetime, or hearing insights from the experts, and reeling in the catch of a lifetime – you’ll find it at ISE Sacramento. For the youngest of enthusiasts, this year’s expanded Youth Fair features all-free activities designed to teach children about the great outdoors in a safe, responsible way.
Starting on Friday, Jan. 18, families can enjoy exhibits in four buildings featuring the California Waterfowl Association, Boy Scouts of America, an outdoor climbing wall, Wilderness Skills Institute, and more.
