7:45 p.m. race start in Folsom's Historic District Plaza

Registration is open -- secure your spot when you register today!

Join us for the 7th annual Folsom Glow, a family-friendly, non-competitive walk event for all ages. Form your family team, tell your friends, bring your neighborhood group, or plan your date night and get ready to show your glow! This event is not a race -- it's all about the fun experience and lasting memories you create with friends and family.

In-person registration and packet pick-up: preregistered participants may pick up race packets in advance from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, October 4 in the Folsom Historic District Plaza, 905 Leidesdorff Street. Event day packet pick-up opens at 4 p.m. Saturday, October 5 in the plaza. The event begins at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, and a DJ will make sure you are feelin' the groove as the sun goes down and the glow turns on! A limited number of in-person registration spots may be available at the packet pick-up but will go fast on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance registration is highly encouraged!

Event highlights: the 4K (2.5-mile) mostly flat course starts and finishes in Folsom's Historic District; the majority of the event takes place along paved recreational trails that are illuminated with string lights. DJ music sends you off on the course with motivational tunes and continues the fun at the finish with a dance party. Along the way, registered participants take part in special fun zones include a Silly String battle zone, foam tunnel, and a whipped-cream pie-eating contest. Selfie stations along the way help you capture plenty of fun memories. All registered participants receive glow goodies and a custom-designed finisher's medal.

More information: Folsom Glow is a family-friendly event for all ages; strollers are welcomed and we encourage you to keep your family or team theme going with some fun and appropriate stroller décor. Note: dogs are welcome to accompany you, but should be accustomed to large crowds and loud noise; all dogs must be kept on a maximum 6-foot leash at all times. Folsom Glow is definitely a see-and-be-seen event, so make sure to wear fun glow gear and garb -- and  don't forget your comfy athletic shoes!

Please note that skates, skateboards, scooters, and bicycles are not allowed on the Folsom Glow course.

Want to know more about the course? Check out the Folsom Glow map for details about the 4K (2.5-mile) course. There is abundant free parking in Folsom's Historic District, including the parking structure at the corner of Reading and Leidesdorff streets, plus multiple surface lots.

Registration is open -- form your team and secure your spots!
