The Sutter Street Theater, where the art is in the entertainment! What a fun experience we had in Historic Folsom's very own theater. The venue is welcoming and cozy and every seat in the house is a good seat. Sutter Street Theater caters to theater goers of all ages which makes it a great place to bring the kids and start their love of live entertainment. Along with the many accolades the theater displays on their walls for their productions, they also offer storybook time, acting classes, vocal lessons and more!
We couldn't be more excited for their next play, Frankenstein Slept Here, which is in the Jr. Series and rated G, perfect for all Halloween loving littles! Frankenstein Slept Here opens on October 22nd and runs through November 6th. Get your tickets today and add a new favorite to your Halloween traditions.
At the beginning of each show there is an optional raffle for many gifts from Sutter Street vendors. Also for purchase they have concessions such as chips, popcorn, water and soda. If you are feeling like an extra special treat, during the 15 minute intermission you can stroll down to Snook's for an ice cream or up to Reset for a handcrafted coffee. The theater does allow outside food and drink which is always a plus with children in tow.
