Summer Camps for Tweens & Teens @ Leoni Meadows (day and overnight)

Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Sacramento, Placerville, Cameron Park, Shingle Springs

January 29, 2023

Do it all at base camps. Pick two classes you will attend each morning, then in the afternoon you can rotate through activities like archery, go-karts, zip-lines, horseback riding, swimming, and much more!
You get to sleep in a cabin and make new friends with your cabin-mates. A cool, kind counselor will be there to cheer you on and help you have fun.

Cub Camp

Sign up early because this camp fills fast.

Dates:July 10-15

Junior Camp

Join one of our biggest, most radical sessions at camp.

Dates:July 17-22

Our staff spends all winter dreaming up outrageously fun, amazingly odd things to do. Be part of the crowd that’s in on it this year.

Teen Extreme Camp

Dates:July 24-29

Saddle up. Ride, ride, ride. Care for your own horse. Connect with the God who created the whole outdoors. Pack up on an over-nighter and sleep under the stars. Cowgirls can come any week or choose our “girls only” week.

Cowboys and cowgirls sleep in field tents on bunks with their counselor and seven other campers. They chow down on vegetarian meals served out of a chuck wagon. The bath houses have flush toilets and hot showers (a short distance from the field tents).

Limit:28 per session
Dates:July 10-15 (Girls Only!)

July 17-22

July 24-29

The Cowboy staff are accredited by the Camp Horsemanship Association.

Work hard. Play hard. If you know how to ride and handle horses, and want to learn how to share Jesus with kids while having more fun than you can imagine, give us a try.

To apply, give us a call at 530-626-3610 x1. We’ll interview you by phone or in person and let you know if you’re accepted into this special program.

This is your chance to learn what it’s like to be a cowboy camp staff member for a week. And it’s our chance to learn more about you, in case you want to apply as a full time staff in the future.

Dates:July 3-9

To apply, give us a call at 530-626-3610 x1

Come explore the STEM world: Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. Spend the mornings with Ron Ritterskamp building, using, and learning cool science, math and technology. Then spend the afternoons doing all the other fun activities that camp has to offer.

Dates:July 24-29

Leoni Meadows is excited to be expanding its ministry this summer by hosting an Abba’s Child Grief Camp.

Abba’s Child is designed to minister to children who have experienced the recent death of an immediate family member. The concept is simple; place a grieving child in a place where adventure abounds; surround them with people who understand and relate to what they are going through; then watch as they begin to open up and talk about their feelings. All of this is at no charge to the child’s family (it is funded through Abba’s Child Grief Camps)

For more information and to apply, visit

Dates:July 24-29
Cost:Cost is covered by Abba’s Child Camps

Wakeboard. Sleep under the stars. Ski. Catch rays on the beach. Tube, kneeboard, and grow in the knowledge of God’s grace. Join us for a week (or more) of great fun in the sun.

You’ll spend all the weekdays camping at Jenkinson Lake in a specially reserved group campground. The vegetarian meals are cooked over camp stoves right on site. Typical campground toilets are located at the camp site and you’ll bathe in the lake. We provide sleeping pads.

Limit:32 per session

Serve. Set. Dig. Spike. Learn teamwork. Get better acquainted with being on God’s team. Stay in cabins and join Base Camp for crazy campfires and all the other camp fun. Jennifer Pappas, our favorite all-star coach, will be the instructor.

You’ll share a cabin with seven other campers and your counselor. (Each cabin has a shower, toilet and two sinks.) Some days you’ll practice your skills on site at camp, and some days you’ll drive 45 minutes to an indoor gym. You’ll eat yummy vegetarian meals in the cafeteria.

Dates:July 24-29
