In 1974, Bev and Skip Ipsen opened the first Skipolini’s Pizza in Clayton, California. From humble beginnings in the East Bay, the Skipolini’s brand has grown up and now offers a wide range of options which include their award-winning pizzas, specialty salads, and entrees to fit everyone’s tastes and dietary preferences. Located on the corner of Blue Ravine and Folsom Blvd., Skipolini’s is an ideal spot to host your happy hour gathering, birthday party, or business luncheon. Their spacious dining room can accommodate large groups and the outdoor patio is a great spot to sip a cocktail on a spring afternoon.
Skipolini’s Folsom location has a full bar, complete with hand-crafted specialty cocktails, craft beers that are brewed at their Rocklin restaurant, and a wine list which includes some great offerings from Boeger, Sobon, and Frank Family. Friendly bar staff will make you feel at home, especially during Happy Hour, which runs from 2pm to 6pm, Monday through Friday. House favorites like the Buffalo Prawns and Cheesy Garlic Bread are offered up at a discount, along with beer, wine, and cocktail specials.
One of the highlights of our recent trip to Skipolini’s was discovering their play structure tucked into the corner of their outdoor patio. Taking family-friendly to a new level, we were able to enjoy our drinks outside and let our kids blow off some steam while we waited for our dinner. Skipolini’s newest addition is a shuffleboard table, which arrived just in time for summertime tournaments! All things considered, you can’t find a better spot in town to host your event, whether it’s a wedding rehearsal dinner or a team party to celebrate the end of your sports season. Management at Skipolini’s has always been very helpful in regards to customizing a menu or an event to suit the needs of their guests.
