My unique approach to teaching music has developed from working with children for the past two decades and from my successful career as a professional performer. Before moving to El Dorado Hills, I was a teaching voice and piano to private students as well as music in public elementary schools across the San Fransisco Bay Area. In between, I found time to musical direct numerous children's musicals and continue performing professionally.
I attended the prestigious Boston Conservatory at Berkelee as a musical theater major with a vocal performance emphasis. My professional career includes the national tour of Crazy for You and the Los Angeles premiere of White Christmas at the Pantages Theatre. In 2009, I won the singing competition "LA's Next Great Stage Star" which led to offers from multiple agencies, Tokyo Disney, Broadway's Wicked, and Norwegian Cruise Lines. I have performed the lead roles in shows such as Cats, Grease, Thoroughly Modern Millie, 42nd Street, and Carousel in some of the most well known theaters across the United States.
