Learning Through Experience
Fairytale Town has a variety of animals to provide interactive learning opportunities for visiting children. Our animals are as unique as our park; each is selected for unusual characteristics such as size, coat texture or country of origin. Some of our animals are listed in the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.
Fairytale Town’s family of farm animals are out in their corrals when the park opens. In the afternoon, animal feedings usually begin between 3:30PM and 4PM and they are put away for the night. They are also often brought out on the lawn by our animal keeper during the day so children can see them up close during animal introductions.
Animal Introduction
You may see Mary’s Little Lambs’ graze in this enclosed grassy area! This area is also used for up-close introductions with our animal family.
