Prenatal & Postpartum Yoga, Meditation, and Breath work Classes! We invite you to come and be a part of a powerful group of birth parents where we hope you will learn a little more about yourself, develop a deeper connection with your baby, and feel grounded as your baby’s birthday draws closer. These classes are designed to provide pregnant & postpartum students with a safe space to connect with their changing bodies as well as other parents to be, connecting their experience to others in their community. The ancient practice of yoga also connects birthing people throughout history, tapping into the innate wisdom within. Each practice will consist of safe, gentle postures in addition to breath and mindfulness meditation. Postures help to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, assist in finding comfort in changing bodies, while finding focus through balance. You will learn skills and techniques that you will be able to draw upon any time during your pregnancy when you might be feeling nervous, anxious, or stressed. Taught with a strong focus on the connection between you and your baby (and a healthy dose of humor ), these classes can help you navigate your changing body and life with grace and acceptance. Dress comfortably, bring water, and yoga mat (rentals available). Please consult your doctor before beginning a yoga program.
