Join the celebration for our newest Exhibit Labor Day Weekend, August 31st - September 2nd!
Dress up in your favorite character – a Superhero, Villain, Space Traveler, Monster, or even Robot! You are all welcome to the Grand Opening Weekend for “America’s Monsters, Superheroes and Villains: Our Culture at Play,” an exhibition by SuperMonsterCity. Captivating for all ages, this exhibition of David Barnhill’s collection of over 400 toys, models, games, comics, posters, and videos of the 60s through today will delight your inner-geek and spark your imagination.
We welcome everyone to come in costume, however there are a few rules to follow:
No steel/metal weapons of any kind
No gruesome costumes or makeup
No full covered facemasks
Plus, if you're heading to SacAnime this weekend, show us your wristband and you'll receive half price Museum admission through Labor Day, Monday September 2nd.
The Sacramento History Museum is open 10am to 5pm, with last admission at 4:30.
