Have you noticed this new addition to Lembi Park in Folsom? I drove by it the other day and meant to stop and take some pictures. I have seen these fitness centers at parks all over the bay area. (Note: the park behind Folsom High School - Willow Creek Reservoir has a small one) Today I noticed that the City of Folsom announced this new
addition is now open!
"An new accessible outdoor fitness station is now open at Lembi Park, located at 1302 Riley Street. The CrossFit-style equipment allows users to work against their own body weight; features include a vertical press, lat pull, chest press, two butterfly/reverse fly combination machines, and shoulder wheels." - City of Folsom
"The project was made possible through funding and volunteer labor generously donated by the Rotary Club of Folsom, the Rotary Club’s District 5180, and the City of Folsom’s Community Service Day." - City of Folsom
