Disney On Ice at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento was a fabulous experience for the kids and adults alike. I was given the opportunity to sub for one of the Macaroni Kid Folsom - El Dorado Hills publishers and had a blast doing so. We were invited to a Coco themed pre-show meet and greet where there were light refreshments, a craft, and picture time with Minnie Mouse! The children enjoyed personalizing their own guitars from Coco. The snacks were healthy and even had gluten-free options. Meeting Minnie Mouse is always a treat! All the children were happy to have individual time to give her hugs and interact with her before snapping a few pictures.
The performance time followed. The venue was clean and well organized. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
The show was pure Disney magic. The children were captivated by the graceful dances, upbeat music, and fabulous special effects. There were acrobatics, fire, bubbles, and thrilling stunts all performed on ice!
The boys were loving the Toy Story army men stunts and routine. While you can always count on lighting up the face of every little girl when Elsa makes her entrance and it begins to snow. This was something we all enjoyed and we will remember for years to come.

Other spectacular performances by Aladdin and The Little Mermaid included beautiful aerial dancing. The bright and festive colors of CoCo were mesmerizing with performers on stilts adding wonder with the story of CoCo. We strongly recommend taking the family to make some magical memories that will last a lifetime!
